Dear Desert Theatricals Patron,

 

We are very excited to be moving in an exciting, new direction for the 26/27 Season – our 8th Full Season of Broadway Musicals and Events at the Amphitheatre.  We are happy to share that there will be new chairs for the shows that feature a cushioned pad and back.  They are wide, comfortable AND reserved!  No more open seating or waiting in a line!   Food and beverage options are available for purchase at the theatre.  There will be three levels of reserved seating:

• Orchestra tables – show only tables of 4 in the center section of the first two tiers - $400 per table  – beverage service available to tables only.

• Mezzanine levels – individual seats in all areas below and including the main entry level.  These are all front row seats (except for the first-tier house left and house right, and the third-tier center).  Double rows will be spaced for optimum viewing - $75 per seat

• Balcony levels – individual seats across the top of the balcony – front row only - $55

Past season subscribers please email before the 15th to reserve your tables! July 15 all tables and seating become available to all other patrons. There is a seating chart attached so you can see the new layout and table placements.

 

Food & Beverage will still be available for all patrons (tables will have beverage service), or you can have dinner locally and show up fifteen minutes prior to curtain.

 

We will no longer have a dinner theatre option which allows visiting your favorite restaurant, and arriving 15 minutes to show time or earlier if you like!

 

Our season of entertainment features local and national artists and shows include

 

• Into The Woods – Oct 23-25, 2026      Sondheim’s masterful tale that garnered 10 Tony nominations and 3 wins blends multiple fairy tales into a moral and whimsical narrative, showing that achieving one’s desires can lead to both joy and hardship, and that cooperation and courage are essential in overcoming challenge

• Sister Act – Feb 26-28, 2027     The Broadway musical based on the 1992 film that starred Whoopi Goldberg . When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent!

• Man of La Mancha – Apr 2-4, 2027     This Classic Broadway beloved musical was originally produced 1965, and stars local favorite, Charles Herrera. While awaiting a hearing with the Inquisition, Cervantes presents a play as his defense in a mock trial for the prisoners. The ending delivers one of the greatest songs of all time, The Impossible Dream!

• A Cool Yule – Dec 12, 2026Celebrate the holidays with the sounds of Nat King Cole from his Christmas Album, updated with a 7 piece Jazz/Big Band Swing with special sounds of Ella Fitzgerald as she joins the evening!

• The Pepsodent Variety Hour – Jan 22-23, 2027     Reminiscent of the Bob Hope Pepsodent Variety Hour with a 7 piece seeing band featuring the sounds of artists such as Dean Martin, The Andrews Sisters and more with special comedy and dance acts ala Fred & Ginger and Abbott & Costello! With vintage commercials and the comedy you expect from “Bob and Dean” this is a crowd pleaser!

• An Evening of Broadway – Mar 6, 2027Starring Broadway veteran and Tony Award nominated Eden Espinosa. Eden is an actress, singer and voice artist best known for starring as Elphaba in multiple productions of Wicked, Maureen in Rent, and the title role in Brooklyn the Musical. She earned a 2024 Tony Award nomination for Lempicka and an Emmy nod for voicing the Queen of Hearts in Alice’s Wonderland Bakery. Her career spans Broadway, concerts, albums, and extensive voice work for Disney and television. One night Only!
